These are comments I picked off this forum a few years back, made by Jim Burek regarding 75/76 heads.
    Quote;
I am running a set of Ross flat top pistons, zero decked block,
    The heads are I believe 78 or 79 cc's.
The chambers were deburred and ceramic coated,
the cam is a 255/265 at .050. We are at 4000 feet elevation.

The 75/76 heads has a nicer looking intake port than the earlier
heads. They have a really crummy exhaust cross over passage though,
it's not just a round hole.
I only went this set-up because I had the parts and I needed to
    lower the compression. Jim Burek

The heads are ported. They flow in the upper 280 range on the
intakes and 210 to 215 on the exhausts.
The engine made 550 horse on the dyno.
The engine is ungodly strong on the street, pretty much burns
the tires through 2nd gear, even if you don't get into it til
    2nd gear.

Since I had the pistons laying around , I decided to use them,
but I wanted to lower the compression, so I figured I would try
the open chamber heads just to see how it worked.
I was worried about detonation since this would basically
eliminate the squish area in the heads. But then again, the 440
chrysler head and the 350 Buick head are pretty much the same
design, so I said why not.

Hope this is of some assistance.
    Cheers

The set of 75 heads that I almost used actually cc'd to 81cc if you can believe that!!
