I'm a firefighter/paramedic for 20 years. The bath salts has been a problem for about a year or so. It's a synthetic compound that acts like a drug if snorted. It's packaged as a bath salt, so there is no FDA to comply with. But it's packaged and aimed right at kids. It comes in small containers for easy use. The kids can get some kind of high off of it. But it can also be deadly! We've had several deaths this year because of it. And heroine is also making a big comeback in our area. Mix the two together and you might as well make out your will beforehand.

 

Jeez 'o peetz, I am WAAAY out of the loop. Whatever happened to sucking down a Schlitz Malt Liquor behind the bleachers at a high school football game ? o No:

So you just wake up one day and say to yourself "Hey, I wonder if I crushed up and sniffed my mom's bath salts, I'd get high ???"

Excuse me: I will be moving to the garage to see if PB Blaster, when heated, can be inhaled thru a trans funnel........

It would be easier to just legalize pot and then no one would take all this other crap. At least Mary Jane comes from the ground.

And just what makes anyone think that making pot legal would keep people from using other mind altering stuff?

All kinds of aalcoholis legal, that doesn't stop people.
They are always going to want what they are not supposed to have, and they are going to want stronger drugs.
I don't think that pot would give a guy the same high as this junk did. They will want more and the only result of legal pot will be one more legal substance to abuse and ruin families.

 

If you neuter stupid people the problem would eventualy take care of much of the problem and why should a stupid person get to vote their stupid why should a stupid person have a say in anybodys life but their own.Watch Idiocracy some time.ou:

Making pot legal will not keep people from using other mind altering stuff. Just think of all the tax revenue that the government could have if they legalized pot. Could help reduce some of our nation's debt.

Another thing to think about...
Have you ever heard of a stoner getting violent, beating their spouse or kids?
Have you ever heard of someone dying from a pot overdose?
Makes me wonder sometimes why alcohol is legal and pot is illegal.

 

I've never understood this either. However, most stoners I know (a few) from back in the day (30+ years ago) are still right where they were, 30 years ago, for the most part. Guess the pot lobby needs to step up on their congressional donations.
