Today I was at my paint supplier's shop on Governor Printz Blvd in Essington Pa getting paint for my Stage 2 hood w/scoop when I looked across the street at this beautiful 71 GSX. It is Blue in color & has the N-25 bumper option, bench seat, black interior with shift on the column automatic trans. It has classic tags and all the proper stuff. Correct 71 GS grille & hood grilles, matte black hood stripes & side stripes that that appear to be correct. They have the step-up above the rear wheelhouses that appear factory. I had my digital camera with me, but did not take any pics ou: The car was straight & appeared to be unrestored and in excellent condition. The car was parked at a Bodyshop called Dominic's. Don't know what's under hood (did not touch it), but whoever owns this car, it's beautiful. Please step forward. I will go back on Monday & post pics.
Yeah, looks just like yours. Stratomist blue no vinyl top. Pa tags though. Is Duane from Pa, Delaware County?
Yes it's mine. "The car was straight & appeared to be unrestored and in excellent condition." That's probably the best compliment you could give Mark Reeves @ Then & Now Restorations, that the car looks original. Thank you. Duane
Duane, we have never met, however we have been at the same cruise nights. I have seen your GSX/Elcamino, but the other day was the first time I saw the Strato-X.
The 'X' is absolutely PERFECT! We get together several times a year in our area, stay tuned and don't be a stranger. Yardley's picnic (in Holland PA) coming up in the spring :beer
Fellas, I heard through a source, that the "Pinks" on TV was created for Brad's and Duane's "Pink" foamies. Mike Aumann
Well, to be perfectly honest, some of the GSX Prototypes came with PINK foamies on the ram air...ou:
