I am wanting to talk to someone who has a early 70's model, say GS, with a 350, without AC and with Power steering. I have a few questions about where things go one the front of the motor. Thanks Jim

Used to have one, and have lots of diagrams from assembly manuals. What's your question?

I have a question.. My 70 GS is set up the same way as the one in the pictures... Same distance from the fan shroud.. But when I put on the GS air cleaner the two intake vents don't line up with the hood..They are about an inch back farther then the hood is.. I thought maybe when I had the engine out I put the motor mounts in bacwards or something.. Or maybe the inserts in the oposite side.. Anyone have any Ideas on what to look for next? I am stumped.. Thankyou Randy

I don't think mine line up perfectly either. I think the foams would still seal though.

I've a 350 with no AC. The stuff is there, but it never worked. :)
Backwards... you might feel silly, but it's always great when the answer is simple and easy.
