The Mallory SS has a well built mech adv unit but it has to have the lead wires backed out of the hardshell conector in order to get to the adv unit .I wonder how many times this can be done before the tangs break off, I nicked one of my lead wires & I had a no start but after shrink sleave no problem ,over all it looks to be built very HD & good choise of springs to tune curve.

I would go MSD They are well proven and I've bin running mine for over 20 years, Mallory on the other hand are good too but not all Tach's can run with them for what ever reason..
