    Derek,
I've got a restored one boxed away. I don't have a digital camera (I spent too much money buying GS parts instead !) but I can probably have somebody around here take a few pictures and try to get them posted.

Im curious too, what did Dennis Manner say exactly about the Ram Air system?

Dennis Manner said the ram air system as you see now was a marketing item. It does not work and did not work from day one. In order to be effective the air scoops had to be at the front of the hood like the Olds 442 models or had to be 4" tall if the scoops were further back. Now, you know why the Stg2 scoop is so big in the middle of the hood.

It may not function well as a ram air set up but isn't it still better than taking in hot air from the engine compartment ? At least it is bringing in cooler air. :Do No:

It's all personal preference I guess. I have seen zero performance loss from going back to the factory air cleaner assembly. I just love the way it looks really. I am sure that there is some difference or the racers would not use the open elements. But for me, the difference is not noticable.

Having found a 'few' 1969, 1970-71 Buick ram air cleaners I have had tucked away, I found some slight differences. I have a 1969 GS400 assembly that is mildly different than a 1969 GS350. There is an extra 'notch' taken out of the fiberglass side support. Also, there was no part # on the 350 fiberglass 'body'. I have found this with a few other ones I have/ had.. Something to start looking at as maybe GS350 air cleaners are different than the big block ones...
