I sold a few things on ebay. The last one I sold the buyer used a credit card.:bla: Now Paypal wants me to "upgrade" to a Premier account to accept payment. Is the Premier account a good deal for the seller? Any advice? - Bill
You have to have a premier account to accept over $500.00 a month and not having it also limits how much you can transfer at a time....i had to upgrade mine so i could also accept certain payments. It's no big deal..... Peace WildBill
I think I have that since I was selling heavy on ebay at one time and exceeded the payment per month limits. On the down side they will hit you up for more percentage of the transaction for paypal fees. In many ways it's still worth the convienience, both for selling and buying.
Had one for years do it man it makes the tranactions so much eaiser and lets you accept credit cards without limits. :beer
I've had it for a few years, and I think the fees are still about 3%. I just used the shipping tool last night - and it is awesome! Best Wishes, Joe M.
Bill, the "free" basic account did not charge any fees but had a $1000 lifetime cap and it did not allow credit cards for funding. The Premier account charges fees on all transactions. That was the difference when I upgraded but it may have changed since I signed up. You may want to add a second account and use it when customers need to use a credit card and use the no fee basic account when the senders account is funded with cash. Mike
