Now that I have my ignition system figured out as well as new dash almost complete. I have been kicking the idea around to install a trunk mounted battery setup. To shed some light here, I converted my alternator to a 1 wire setup and have a dual electric fan setup as well as an electric fuel pump(both with relays) in the car.I was wondering how I go about the wiring process. Since my relay for the fuel pump is in the trunk and the 2 relays for the fans are by the battery box stock location,do I need to run a wire forward to feed the front of the car? I also have an on/off switch located in the pass rear 1/4 extension. How difficult of a job am I going up against? I am a bit skeptical whether I can pull this off. I want to put a dry cell battery in the trunk,if I decide to do this.Do I have to run a say #10 or #8 wire hack to the battery from my alternator? If I have to run several wires forward, I can't see any weight savings worth it. Please enlighten me.Anyone willing to make a diagram for me?
