Sorry, I don't have my pict of it anymore..

But the HEI does mount on the bottom. You do have to be careful when locking the cap (with a screw driver to the base), other than that, no problems did I run into.

When we dyno'ed, we disconnected the HEI & used the MSD. I dunno, I just my go with the MSD if I can hide it and make it easy to get to.:Do No:

I haven't worried about it lately, because I HAVE no car to drive !:ball: Three years is just TOO long.:af:

    Dan -

Here's your distributor, taken from Ken's post above. You have the 'good style' distributor (besides, of course, it being a 1112016). It appears the good style has the 'square' on the shaft -

Anyone got a picture of under the cap? I am curious as to what he uses inside.

    Marco....

    You're quick with the typing.

No pict of the inside, sorry. But I can tell you it looks the same as any MSD or HEI. If you go to Dave's site, I think he has some picts there to look at. There is nothing you have to do in there except change the rotor cap every now & then.:Comp:

MSD magnetic pick up. If you get the trigger only, Dave leaves the MSD connector and wiring in place. Plug it into any MSD box. With the HEI, he wires the pick up to the module.
