I agree , but I think your ten to one ratio is really closer to 300 to one , at least thats how it feels if you race anywhere besides a Buick event .

Keep in mind that if you make a .750 shaft that's another part to keep in inventory along with the .750 rockers and shims you will have to fab or buy , cutting into your already limited volume buying power . But if you can make a quality set of Buick roller rockers for $220 you will have a big line up. How's your crank lightening project going ?

Rick , I think your right to keep that story about the empty vaseline jar private , especially if it has anything to do with Doug.

    Hi guys,

I always enjoy good information being exchanged. I learn a lot by reading what all of you have to say.

As for me, and my Iron Headed Stage 1, my first set of roller rockers were an old set of T&D 1.6 with bearings, I moved on up to TA 1.65 with bearings, and I now run a custom set of Harland Sharp with bearings. No flames intended, I ran back to back passes after the switch and the car picked up. Could of been the air, but I don't think so. Do your owen R&D as I do. I am just happy that all of the vendors are making Buick parts for us and willing to continuely improve them for us to go fast. Friendly competion at the race track and friendly competion among the vendors, we all gain by it. If someone else comes up with a better design, I am willing to give them a try too.

    Marv.
