    Hi folks,

the title says it all. Where can I send my '70 buckets out for a rechrome? I think the "best" guys use a thicker chrome than stock? Any ideas on price? I know it's not cheap--$200-300 each?

I just used "Pauls" in PA, and I recommend NO ONE USE THEM!!! They messed up my piece, and I will never trust them to do anything else.
I sent it to them, I pointed out the detail made into the piece, I told them if they couldn't preserve the detail to do nothing and just send it back. BUT THEY MESSED IT UP ANYWAY!!!
    Rant over.

AIH Chrome in IA does/did all of mine....about 10 sets......price is $250-325 depending on the number of blisters/pits.

I used Advanced Custom Chrome in Erie, PA. for my both my bumpers. He is not the cheapest but they came out beautiful and are show quality. I will use him for all my chrome needs going forward.

I had my 71's done at AIH. You could not pay enough to ever use them again.
Got them back with more pits in them than there was to begin with. I called them with a delivery update. A week later they called back and said they could not even find them. Called back again a week later. Said they found them in a workers tool box ! Customer service was no help. Did not even
    offer to re-do them !
