White interior convertible, what color are the A arm pillars?

I have a 68 GS400 convertible. It was originally a blue interior car. I made it a white interior car. My question is "What color should the A arm pillars be?" I had a buddy that had a white interior hardtop. This is from my memory. (What memory is left!) It had white seats, white door panels and window panels in the back, and white kick panels. I believe it had white A arm pillars??? If I remember correctly, it had a black dash board, black carpet, black headliner, black sun visors and black seat belts. Is that correct???
Any and all opinions graciously excepted.

A arm pillars and kick panels should be black.

Redmanf1, can you tell me why? I could've sworn, and I said my memories not that great, my buddies car had white kick panels. I seem to remember scrubbing them with cleanser because they always had scuff marks on them???
Do you have a white interior car? I am not saying you are wrong. Just fact checking.

My ‘68 vert has white interior. My seats, door panels and rear side panels are white. My carpet, kick panels, lower door carpet, console, A pillars, dash, visors and header panel are black.

John, Don't know where Redmanf1 gets his info, but below are a few links that can help.
    https://www.autocolorlibrary.com/pages/1968-Buick.html#parentHorizontalTab2 should help you.
If the link doesn't connect, try www.autocolorlibrary.com , and manually enter your information. "Classic Library 1950-1977" then "1968" then "Buick" then Go to "Page 2" . look up your trim code from the cowl tag, and it will tell you hat items are painted what color and what gloss. It may be a little hard to read, so blow it up as needed.
BEWARE!!! I found that 1971 convertible and coupe use different style AND different color materials from the rest of the interior.
Legendary Auto Interiors can provide you with a link that goes deeper than the chart on "Page 2". My point of contact was Lacy S. Huber at sales. https://www.legendaryautointeriors.com/ (800-363-8804)

I think this might have to do with where the car was built as well. I have two 1970 GS455 hard tops with white interiors. The black car was Flint built and has white headliner, sail panels and A pillar covers. The burgundy car was a Leeds built car and features the same except the A pillars are black. Both cars had black carpet and kick panels. Both cars are unrestored originals.

I could be wrong on the 68-69. I have had more than a few cars with white interior. All the ones I have had, coupe, convertible have and have had black kick panels.

Colors differ on coupe vs convertible.
