What is everybody using for a 'replacement' shock on your restorations?
I won't be going for the spiral-shocks, but I will paint them like the originals (grey??). What are the majority of you using? Delco's? KYB's??
My finished car will be 'near-concours' but with a few upgrades....
    Thanks!

I used monroe sensatrac. Painted them gray. Pics on my website. I have used them on other cars and on my pickups and they do work great.

I think the delcos would be good too.

    Thanks Tim!
Anyone else? I'm looking for a consensus here....surely everyone is using shock absorbers on their cars!

    Walt,

I bought some plane-jane Delcos, stripped the paint off and painted them shock gray.

I used regular old parts store Gabriels. Car rode like a dream, until lack of garage space forced me to start storing the slicks in the trunk and I had to start keeping air in the airbags to compensate for the weight...
