    Happy Friday Fella's,

A few months back I ordered a shifter boot for my non-console, '67 GS400 with a Muncie 4-Speed and rectangular shift handle. The boot was great quality and fit well. However....

I have since acquired and installed a 4-speed consolette and would like to get the correct boots installed. I have included pictures from the parts that I've dug up at the Parts Place, as well as a picture I downloaded on an exploded view of the consolette parts. Are any of you able to tell me if these are the right parts that I need, and whether or not I need any other pieces? Remember, I have a Hurst-Style shifter, not an original.

I called the Parts Place twice and spoke to two different representatives... Hung up on both of them because they were so rude, and kept interupting me. So I'm not excited to give them my money, but they seem to have all the parts I need in one place, with the best prices.

    Any advice is appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,
    -Jared

You will need both one mounts to the consolette, the other mounts to the floor keeps water out of the car. you will also need the mounting ring for the lower boot.

I suspected as much... I'm thinking the top ring is purely aesthetic... Was that an OEM part though?

Top ring for the consolette was chrome from the factory.
