I know you cant use solid core, so i was wondering what everyone else is using. What would be some good plug wires that with fit a buick, work with an hei style post cap, work with msd, and be under 50 bucks. i did a search and didn't really turn up anything. Thanks Jeramie :jd:

If you want the wires to fit exactly, use a universal set. They allow you to cut the wire to the exact length for a custom fit. You crimp the distributor end and fit the boots. They include a tool to make the crimp, but the ratcheting pliers sold by MSD do a superior job.

It's not that hard. If you want to stay close to 50.00, these will work for you. They are spiral core wires.

The best wires are MSD Super Conductor 8.5's IMHO, although there are other wires that will do the job.
