I need to buy the lower fender bolts and nuts for my 70 skylark. I see different sellers on ebay with these but the looks vary so I'm not sure what the correct one is supposed to look like. Can someone post a correct picture of both the lower fender bolt and nut so i know which one to buy. These are the pair of bolt and nuts that are on the fender by the door on the underside. Allen
thank you, I think my biggest concern is the actual nut part since many of those are different shapes but I still want to see pics of both the nut and bolt before buying. Allen
Here are the pics.....most common nuts I have found on Skylarks is the one with a captured square nut.....many other A-bodies use the formed J nut. The screw has a 1.25" captured washer and is 1.5" overall length. I will be at the yard on Friday and should be able to get the nuts and bolts from a 72 Cutlass Supreme or 73 Century. OK George if you can round up 2 sets (to do two different cars) of the one with the captured cage nuts that would be great, bolts also, if not I will take just the one set. I'm also looking for the bolts that hold the back of the fender (sits on top of cowl), the bolts for the part of fender that attaches to firewall and the bolts that get covered once the door closes. I think these all had the large built in washers, I have misplaced all of mine. Let me know how you make out. Allen
