okay then some1 might have swapped it to a 4bbl. maybe thats why it has silicone around it. is a 71 motor tho. i know this thing makes more than the 150hp 72 350 lol.

You can swap all the early 350 buick 68-69 heads & inlet manifolds onto the 70 on 350 buick mts but I'am not sure on fitting later heads onto the early blocks[IMG] . The early blocks had round water jackets & oiled the valves different the 70 on 350 mts had oiling through the lifters and pushrods and had oblong water jackets as on this 73 350 mtr

That interesting as I have the 1975 4b manifold on my mtr that I purchased while in the states in 2004 at Carlisle fall swap meet & it appears to not have the smog air rail the manifold had 75 under it & blue colour. But the original 2b 73 manifold had the air rails. Also the 73 heads have the year stamped on them at the exhaust exit but the 69 head on the other side has no markings.
reason I have a 69 head is 350 Buick mtrs are very rare in Australia & it was the only head I could locate on the otherside of the country as it had a crack

Check the casting number on the intake. It could be a different vintage than the heads.

The bloke that sold the inlet said it was of a 75 buick 350. The colour was the same as the mtr that ( sean Buick 76 ) has in his pic.Plus it had 75 stamped under it & the 73 2 barrel that it replaced had 73 stamped under it

The casting number is 8-1249168-1 with K24 stamped under the no's which tells me its a 75 inlet 4 barrel. Which don't appear to run air rails
