I used cut pile in my Olds conv...looks good....looks better than loop.

Up to you which you prefer.

I believe ACC (Auto Custom Carpet) makes all the car carpets and everyone sells their product.

I've seen a black Essex carpet in a 70 GTO and it was very nice looking and not cheesy at all. If you are not worried about keeping it original looking then its the way to go IMO. If I ever put a new carpet in mine it will definitely be the Essex. I think he said he got it from OPG.

1 vote for loop. I like original look. I juts help friend put in a new brand of carpet called Trim parts. Appeared to be very high quality as good as ACC. The one we took out was ACC black and it faded really bad after only 5 years???? Another carpet now on the Market is Dorsett industries. Claims to be original manufacturer of carpets for cars abck in the day. They are made in Dalton GA. Carpet capitol of the world.

Year One doesn't manufacture the carpets....they are a reseller of parts made by others. Highly likely you will get ACC carpet if you order from Year One.
