    Hello again,
I would like some advice on a cam selection. I am changing my old cam which is a c118 from Kenne-Bell, and was wondering if I should stay with a c118 from T/A or go to a c113. The car will be street driven but maybe I will take it to the track, just to see what it will do. The car is a 75' Regal so it is heavy. I have 2.56 stock gears but I am upgrading to a posi with 3.73's. The engine is a short block which I was told from the manufacturer is a 74 block with a 40 overbore and stock compression. When the KB c118 was installed I had the dual heavy duty valve springs put in as per the KB catalog. There is a mild torque converter, (also from KB) as I remember 2000-2200 rpm stall speed & the trans. is a th350 with a B&M rebuild kit (not just a shift kit). I have a T/A dual plane aluminum intake with a Fred Catlin built 800cfm Rochester. This cam made good power although the rear gearing was obviously holding it back. According to T/A their c118, which seems similar to the KB c118, states that it is mild on the valve train. But the c113 states that it will make 30-40 hp over stock. Is this a better cam for my combo or should I stick with the c118. As I recall in the old KB catalog the specs. for the KB c118 were a 35-40 hp gain over stock. What do you guys think ?
    Thanks again for your input,
    Mario.

I vote for a TA 212 cam, it makes great torque and hp under 5500 rpm.
