Which cam bearing would you recommend for a turbo build? The normal TA cam bearing, single groove, double groove, or double groove with teflon coating? I realize there is a huge price difference but, what will work best for the money?

I would at least go with the double groove, non-teflon coated bearings. You get the oiling advantages, but with forced induction your cam profile and spring pressures shouldn't be wild enough to have to go to the extreme.

    I agree, well said....

Like Devon says no need for a huge cam or anything too trick for bearings. Make sure the shop installs the double groove bearings liek the instructions say.

For 25 dollars difference i should probably just go with the teflon coated ones. When the block is at the shop i will also be having the oiling modifications made to it.
