    Hi!

I'm from sweden and not so good in english so i hope you forgive me
    if I write incorrect...

I have a Electra 225 convertible from 1968, with alot rust, so i need
some bodyparts... But it seems hard to find 2door elextras from 68,
and it would be great if I knew which other models that matches mine
so i can expand my searchzone...

    I did find a company in USA with sheetmetal;
"LH full-length floor pan for 1968-1972 models. $124.00"
    Link to the AD
Question - is it really the same floor to all buicks from 68 to 72 ???
Will it really match my electra floor ??
I did send them an email but
they didnt answer my question about that...

-Please feel free to give me detailed information about this, it would
help so mutch in my restoration...

    -------------------------------------------------------------
I have some family in USA so they can help me send parts, but where
do we find it? Please name some good junkyards(gladly with webbsites)..
    -------------------------------------------------------------

I'm planing to change my destoryed 1968 front, to a 1967, would it
be any problems to do this? I'm worried about the 1967 sheetmetal under the
wipers, aint any on the 68....
    --------------------------------------------------------------

    Best regards

The 67' Electra does have the same doors as the 68'. As for the floorboards I would do a search for fullsize Chevy floorboards of that era. You'd have a much better chance to piece it together that way. Look under Caprice or Impala. They may not be exact but dam close. When they 68-72 they are talking about the A-Body cars Skylarks/GS. Not going to help you out one bit.

Now for your front end question: I was going to do the same thing onetime but the opposite direction 68' on a 67'. The problem which you mention is do-able with time and effort. We looked everything over and realized our biggest obstacle was the windshield cowl. It can be done but TIME & PATIENTS is a must. Good Luck with your venture. If you need any parts for the 68' I might be able to help you out. We have a couple in the back.

    The 67 bumper/front are more sharp/pointed.. then the 68...

    but... will a 70 hood match a 67 front ?...
(i dont think so, but I want the sharp look AND to cover the wipers.. perhaps,
not so sure anymore now then I decided to change to a complete 67 front)
    - just curious....

    :)

Is it the same floor in the wildcat or lesabre?
(what years did they have mostly the same bodys?)

-I can see the grille and the rear parts are different, and the seats, when I look at pictures...

(anyone having a good picture collection on interiors so i can find the perfect seats? lol)

    Thanks for you answer
I tried to send you a private message but your mailbox is full...

-I wonder if you can tell me more and even more nice; to send some pictures...
(I'm not so sure I did understand about the windshield cowl part...)

Q: What is it I will have to do to make it?

Q: How are the sheet metal under the wipers fixed on the 67 ?

Q: Is it the same shape on the windshield 67 and 68 ?

Q: Do you have any experience about the 70 hood? do you think it will match the 67/68 front/fenders?

    Thanks
    Best regards

The '68 Wildcat front sheet metal should be the same as a 225. The LeSabre fenders and hood are about 3" shorter and will not fit ! :TU:

    Question for all:
The 67 and the 68 Electra doors looks the same for me (on the outside, on pictures), whats the difference? Please say it's just the inside panels.
(Any other models with same doors? LeSabre?)

Is it same shape and measurements on the floor between Electra, LeSabre, 1967 1968, and perhaps some Other models like wildcat?

(Just so I know before I place my order, please help me fast so I don't get the wrong parts!)

    Thanks!
