So I am being told I need to relocate my boost referenced fuel regulator off the firewall by 6" to pass tech inspection. where or what is a good or common place to mount the thing so I can pass tech? bracket off the intake? inside the fender? thanks for any ideas.
Hard to see in this picture: http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?208384-New-pictures-completed-engine-bay&highlight=sailbrd but it to the left of the alternator under the blower tube. Single -8AN line up to the carb. Follow the line back. I run a -8 to a RobMc regulator with a -10 return. The line is not anywhere near the headers.
thanks for the pics. well I had to get out of the house for a few minutes so I grabbed some tools. without trimming any of the -AN fuel hose I could locate the regulator on the drivers inner wheelwell about in its middle right by my line lock solenoid. so I drilled a few holes and mounted the bracket...DONE Its all away from the exhaust, bellhousing, firewall...nothing even close. I guess we will see what the Tech guys say about it now.
