Hi folks, I have a big problem. On my 68 GS California is the left rear-axle-shaft completly done. Where to get a new or used one? It is: 10-bolt GM, 28 spline, 29 3/4 inch, bolt pattern 5x4.75, non C-Clip. On which cars where these used? Any information would be great. Greetings from germany (overseas)... :TU: JP
'68 & 69 Skylarks & GS's share the same Buick 8.2 axle. Have several from '68 & 69 GS partscars. Need one, best to e-mail, the PM box gets full. :3gears: Roger resto_services@yahoo.com BTW, with these axles being sealed ball bearing axles, I always cut the bearing collar off, remove bearing, & ck axle for wear. If no wear, press on new axle bearing, ck flange for straightness, then press on the new collar.
