    BUQUICK I'm your huckleberry.

Since Duane no longer has correct hood insulation for sale, what is the next best supplier for somewhat correct appearing hood insulation for a '72 GS?

    Thanks,

I found the insulation for my Wildcat at classicbuicks.com. The quality and appearance are nearly identical to what I pulled off the hood when I started restoring it over a decade ago, only newer.

    I checked ClassicBuicks.com....they offer a 7 piece set for a 72 GS, for 32 bucks..The trouble is, I only see locations for 3 pieces.
I mean, 32 bucks is cheap enough....but if I only need 3 pieces...

Gary Ebay has been selling those. Really don't look bad.

Cars in NJ- www.oldbuickparts.com sells a Kit. It is not bad. The center hole is a bit bigger than Duanes which is correct size. Get the yellow which is correct for most. You get 5 pieces. Only the three rear were used on a GS. You need to pop out the center hole that is outlined. These guys specialize in Buicks.
