where is this bolt from??

    My dad found that little piece of a washer fall out of the gs engine we might rebuild. On my normal 350, we had the same exact bolt , in the container for the lower assembly. But we wanna know where it is from to be replaced. I attached a picture, hope it works, thanks

    Looks like the crank bolt to me...

    OH! i got confused, i though by crank bolt you meant the external one where the vibration damper is.:error: So what should i do that that little piece came out, its not that hard to take off the water pump, and we have to take off the oil pump anyway, thanks.

    Looks sorta kinda like the distributor hold down bolt. As for that little piece, hmmmmmmmmm, cant really tell. Mark
