Where is Joe The Buick Doctor?

Hi All-

Does anyone actually know Joe the Buick Doctor? I see here he had fantastic feedback and praise from many board users before I bought a rim from him, which was a smooth transaction. I had asked him to keep an eye out for 2 more rims for me, and he contacted me in early november with 2 more for sale. We agreed to a price, I sent the money. He confirmed receipt, and just had to get the old tires off before shipping. To be fair, at that point with the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, I said "take your time, after the holiday is fine". Early December came and went, no rims. I sent a PM, and he replied, apologized for the delay. That was 12/17, at 5:30PM. As of 1/12, still no rims, and I sent another PM, that has yet to be confirmed on the board as read by Joe.
Does anyone know if he is still around....doing ok? I find it hard to believe that with all his positive feedback, he would just up and disapear.

He should be in my MSN Messenger list, let's see if he comes online today.

 

I only know Joe through this board, but he has been EXTREMELY helpful to me. Seems like a great guy.

Sometimes people just get busy and the Buick board gets bumped down on the notches of importance. There are times when I'm not on for weeks.

Hopefully, nothing bad has happened to him.

Still no confirmation on my PM- I sent a email to his personal email and it didn't bounce back as invalid or anything, and I found him on ebay, (although no current auctions) and sent a message to him there......hopefully he turns up soon, and in good health. .....just hoping I get my rims too.

I think his last name is Tier.
Because that's in his brother's e-address I used for PayPal.

Joe contacted me last night. He had good reason not to be in touch. I won't elaborate, but suffice to say it was good enough reason for me.
