Well, my car came with new quarter panels, without emblem holes. I want my body guy to put some holes so i can put the emblems in before i paint it.

Is there a specific measurement that anyone knows of?

    Thanks

Attached are pictures of both the driver and passenger side rear quarter panels where the 'Skylark' emblem is located. Also included is a pdf showing the dimensions to locate the emblem. These were taken from my 71 Skylark with OEM quarters. NOTE: the pattern is the same for both sides however the distance from the back edge is different for each side. This is done so the end of the emblem is the same distance from the back edge. One the driver side the 'k' is at the rear and on the passenger side the 'S' is at the rear. Hope this helps you out.

    Regards,
    Randy

Yes, they are 3/16" diameter. It's marked on the template by the middle hole but probably hard to see.

Yes, I did it last night before posting. I'm doing some GS upgrading to my 'Lark and just happended to have the emblems removed. So I took the opportunity to post the information for posterity.
