Any one know what kind of Shops do Chroming? Would Macco or other bodyshops or Car painting shops do it. Im in the Michigan Clarkston Waterford Area if you know of any around there. Im wanting to get my bumpers and Rims Re Chromed
Contact www.desertdogautoparts.com He will rechrome bumpers for $250 each and $50 each for shipping. You can ship your bumper by FedEx for about $15 to him in Chicago. Rims..better of buying new ones from Wheel Vintiques or Specialty Wheel. They are offered thru Jegs and Summit for $140-160 each.

Chroming Jake The is a place by Metro airport in Wayne ...used to be called Hajjar Plating. They changed their name recently but I cant remember what it is. One of my buddies got his 71 GS bumpers done there just recently. I think that they were @ $ 350 ea. They are located on Van Born road west of Wayne rd. Hope this helps. :beer
Desert Dog! Desert Dog did both of my bumpers and the same guy I talked to on the phone brought them and delivered them to my house after they were finished. Talk about good customer service... wow, I was shocked. Fair price also. Good Luck Bert
