I have a 71 Riviera with the canister style fuel sender. I understand that they only used these for a few years. Would a later style sending unit also work? My manual says I should have 80-92 ohms resistance with a full tank. Is this similar to other senders? Thanks in advance Tom
Tank sending unit Tom, The sender fits 1971-72 series 6600,8000,9000 only. If you can't find a good used one let me know I might be able to put my hands on a new one. David
Contact Patsusedparts on this Board if you and David do not get together. He is parting out some 71-2 Riv stuff and may have one.
