Re: Were can i find a book on the nailhead. I don't know of any books, but check out this link for some tech articles that may be helpful. http://www.webrodder.com/index.php?search=nailhead&page=showStories&CID=
Re: Were can i find a book on the nailhead. Find yourself a chassis manual for your car. EVERYTHING you'd want to know. Look on Ebay or check Hemmings or one of the other restoration resources for leads as to where to find one. Ed
Re: Were can i find a book on the nailhead. B... Look for a book called "Buick: Performance Portfolio 1947-1962 (Performance Portfolio)" on the link below. It might help. http://www.buickpartspage.com/books.cfm?startRow=13&pageNumber=2 Also, the book "Ultimate American V-8 Engine Data Book 1949-74" found below as well. Might be worth a shot. http://www.buickpartspage.com/books.cfm?startRow=25&pageNumber=3
Re: Were can i find a book on the nailhead. You could also look for a proper year "Motors" repair manual on eBay or at a swap meet. They had good info in the old days of auto repair. They and "Chilton were sort of the bibles but Motors was more popular and are still in abundance. $10 - $30 should buy you a good one.. Good luck.
Re: Were can i find a book on the nailhead. i just bought a 1963 chassis manual on ebay for $30 plus shipping, the cover is a little discolored but the pages are as white as the text box. lots of good detailed info. makes me wish i hadn't paid $25 for a dynaflow repair manual LASER COPYou:
