I haven't made hotel reservations yet.........so I'm curious to hear where the people that are going are staying. That reminds me.............isn't registration due soon!!ou:
hotels for gs nats david, im staying at the baymont inn, right off scottsville road. when you send in for your tickets and to register it has to be post marked before march 21 or the registration fee is 50.00 bucks instead of the early fee of 25.00. better hurry and save yourself 25.00 dollars.
Where am I staying during the nationals??? At HOME, where else??? I LOVE being so close to BG! Ronnie
Dave, Where did we stay last year?? It must not have impressed me much. All I remember is asking for iced tea at Denny's. Taking my first sip I realized I was too far south to get unsweetened tea. I had to run around the parking lot 40 times to burn the sugar off. BTW...I have the voucher from 2002. I plan to call down to GA and see what we need to do.
Michigan, Ohio, NV at the Fairfield Inn, lots of rooms still available in block for $79, supposed to be remodeled by the time we get there. 270-782-6933. tell 'em your in the block with me, RV
Sweet!! Registration is $25 this year!! :TU: Joe, I'm going to race the T-type, Thursday-Friday-Saturday. If I pay the registration for the racing then you pay for the hotel room!! Unless you bring the GS to race...............how's that sound, then we'll split!! I'll check with the Baymont in the morning and see if we can get a room!! If not there's the Quality and the Fairfield. BTW: I believe we stayed at the Days Inn, I'm not 100% sure. It was connected to Denny's which made an easy walk! I can't wait to get the turbo on the track......posi should be done Thursday!!
Motel 6 for the fourth year in a row. Pretty close to everything, part of the reason I love staying there.
News Inn with the Indiana chapter....park in front of your room  The Scottish next door is supposed to be totally re-modeled by the Nationals and is now owned by the News Inn people. See You there. Peace WildBill
Topcat said: "The Scottish next door is supposed to be totally re-modeled by the Nationals" Dude, I'll believe that when I see it. Us N.E. Chapter people stayed there for 10 years and we kept hearing that for the last five. They didn't spend a dime! If there are new owners, then there's a chance, I guess. I'd go back there next year if I see that they fixed it up this year.
The place would be a lot nicer if you guys did'nt BLOW IT UP with pyrotechnics each year:grin: Thats the word at our last chapter meeting so we will see. I'll call down and see if it is true tomorrow. Peace WB
I'll Be staying at the DeRemer residence, in Fort Worth, Texas it sucks that we find buicks, attent bg on one of the worst years I've heard, then move to Texas! I think the nationals should be more centrally located to be honest.. I think theres a lot of guys out west that have never, or will never expierience that many buicks in one spot!
Doug, Were there any engine or transmission rebuilds in the rooms there over the past 10 years. The last time we stayed there the rooms were nasty, and the parking lot and pool seem to get worse every year.
