I was just out unsuccessfully trying to get the body mount bolts out of my 71 Riv and I'm noticing the frame is worse than I thought. I had seen the holes on the corner where it starts to go over the rear tire, but I'm also now seeing significant rust where the lower trailing arm bracket is welded to the frame. I'm starting to get the "coyote love" feeling coming over me about this Buick.
No pictures right now. Not sure they'd do it justice. As far as frames go, I'm not sure. Boat tails were 3 years only and the 73 was a little different so I think the field is pretty limited. I posted it for sale here and on craigslist so if I get offers between now and whenever I have the time and money to work on it, then it goes. If it's still here in a year or so, I'll tackle it then.
If you need a frame I have one all ready off and ready for pickup. this frame came from Airizona and is in real good shape. as fare as I can tell the frame for the 71-73 are the same.
