I've pick up a 1 1/4 sway bar for my 66 gs can you use the old brackets and just get new bushings or are you looking to replace brackets & bushings?
Just get the correct size bushing and it will fit just fine with stock mounting U clamps. Might as well replace the end links while it's out too. Made the same mod to my 65, but also added boxed lower control arms and a 1" for the rear. It really stablized the ride and it handles much better. Just be sure the front sway bar is always a bit larger than the rear.
anybody have the moog part number or were too get these 1 1/4 bushing.After putting the bracket up to the bar there sure isn't very much room for much of a bushing.Looks like there should be at least 1/4 all around the bracket not sure if I have that.
