    Hi.

    I have now started my body restoration (Electra 1968) and wonder about one thing

    The convertible-frame is mounted basic on the rear wheelhouse, and
    If you dont have the backseat mounted and can se the top-frame attachment
    On the wheelhouse;
    - Will you find a dent just directly over the attachment on the both attachments,
    Or is it some kind of damage on my body from like a try to use the top for sail-flying.

    You can feel this if you stand in front of one rear wheel, Stick you hand inside the wheelhouse and feel on it, at position Clock: 01:00...

    -----------------------

    Im a little skeptic if it really is from a accident, the wheelhouse metal just under the top attachments looks correct shaped, its just over the attachments there a dent on both sides..

    Lets say you stand on the side of the car again then the attachments are placed 01:30 and the dents are placed 01:00 to speak symbolic...

    -----------------------

    What would be the easiest way to fix this if it isnt meant to be dents over the attachments on the wheelhouses? Take a sledgehammer and hit like crazy from the inside of the wheelhouse?

    Thanks for the help!
    Best regards.
