I am very pleased with these wheels on my 1970 Stage 1. Especially when it costs $300 to rechrome an old wheel vs.$139 to get new ones. These are certainly well worth it and look outstanding.
99 gs carl: have u had to replace the rocker arm cover gaskets on your 99 gs yet ? i have a 98 gs & replaced the gaskets 2 weeks ago . long process .
Hi Gerry, no I haven't replaced them yet and they still aren't leaking. You have to watch the plastic valve covers and not overtighten them. This will cause them to warp even more.As for valve cover gaskets,I still have the original ones on my 92 Park Ave Ultra and they too don't leak.I guess it all depends on some cars, the workers tightened more on the valve covers causing them to leak more,as opposed to other cars that weren't tightened as much(and didn't leak in the process). I don't know how to answer that.o No:
valve cover gaskets carl: my car was built just a couple of days before the strike at gm in 1998 which probably answers any questions . there was actually a few bolts & screws missing from various locations on the car .
