I'm sure they do this else where, but two weeks ago our local track had one. We didn't go but I just looked at the pics. I have to say some of these guys have a few bolts loose. In the past guys have flipped the car on the roof. I don't even know what the pay out is, but I don't know if it would be worth it. Check out some of these photos

Right, it's not the fall it's the landing I would be afraid of. Rod broke his wheeli bars once so we took them off and ran, bad thing to do. That thing went sky high and came down hard, bent a lot of things. Last year the winner flipped it on it's side. We're not replacing a few shocks anymore and body work is not cheep. :Dou:

I got a buddy that would love to have that truck. He now has a 69 that is running 11.20's.

scariest ride ive ever been in. it surprisingly cannot keep those wide tires planted on the street.. but its amazing what a 4500rpm transbrake launch will do to the back of your neck! We were at 100 in the blink of an eye! fastest car ive ever been in!

What about the suburban in Car Craft? Ran a 12.17 on the 1/4 mile. And weighs 6,100lbs! It had a 434cid small-block motor with nitrous.
