o No: Anyone make wheel spacer's? The incorrect road wheels are rubbing on the tie rod ends !:af: :TU:
I had the same problem with my '69 Electra. But I figured if I used spacers I would need longer wheel studs.
I Did think about that. I can slide a credit card in between the tire and the tie rod end. Your's that close ? Tire still ok ? Thanx !:TU: :TU:
They were really close in the front, but on the rear they wouldn't clear the drums. o No: so I took them off until I get the correct wheels.
Thanx for the reply ! Your's sound worse than mine. My rear wheels just had to wear a groove in the knock on wheel wieghts!! The fronts just rub on the outer tie rod ends . Anyone have the "correct 68 -15'' wheel out here ? 5 "NICE " WHEELS WOULDN'T BE ASKING TOO MUCH ,would it !!:Brow: :TU:
Summit Racing sells them. They go from under 1/4" to just under 1/2". Here's the link: http://store.summitracing.com/defau...e=bykeyword&searchtype=both&part=wheel+spacer
