Hi everyone. I have a question regarding the proper size wheel for the front of my 69 skylark. I recently converted it over to front disc brakes, and I soon found out that the stock 14 inch wheels did not clear the caliper.:Dou: I'm in the middle of a resto, and I just completed the suspension, so I was hoping to at least get it rolling again, but not yet! Do I just need a 15" GM bolt pattern wheel, or is there a certain off-set I need. I'm not going with rally wheels yet, because I am a long way off from that, I just need to get the car on the ground and rolling. Any help with this would be great! Thanks!

A 15" wheel will clear the factory size disc brakes. Factory offset is, I believe, 3.5" on Buick rallye wheels.

Thanks for the info. I thought that a 15" wheel would work but I wasn't sure on the offset. Thanks, I'll look for 15's with a 3.5 offset.

My car (70) is a 14 inch wheel car (but not today) and came with factory disc. But, weren't 69 cars 4 piston calipers?

The 15" X 7" wheels will have a 4 1/4" backspacing. They will work with disc brakes. The later 14" X 6" wheels that came on the 82-87 Regals has a 3 1/2" backspacing. They should clear the disc brakes also.
