Hi All, I'm finally getting around to doing the front disc conversion on my '70 skylark, and have all original buick parts, except for the rotors, which i got OE-style hub/rotors except they're drilled+slotted zinc-plated rotrs. Anyways, what bearings are needed for these? I see a few different ones and don't want to get the wrong ones. Then to get the brake lines and start working...
Thank you, yes, but which ones? The TIMKEN SET2 and SET6? Paul, You need one front inner, and one front outer, as well as a grease seal. Some of those listed bearings are obviously rear axle bearings. Just pick one front inner, and one front outer. They should be the same, just different manufacturers. Yes, the Timken SET 2 and 6. Don't forget the grease seals, TIMKEN Part # 8705S, you need one for each side.
