I was wondering, are there any methods of testing wheel bearing without actually taking the bearing itself out? When I make right turns, I notice a light squealing sound and sometimes it is accompanied by a groaning sound...whoa... I am also wondering how much the rotor should spin when I have the tire removed. Should it move freely, and revolve several times if I spin it, or should it not revolve very much? Is this related to bearing issues?

I'm not sure its a good idea to "check" the bearing without removing it - but the light squealing might be the brakes telling you they are getting low. The brake pad will have a piece of metal that will rub the rotor after enough pad wears down. The sound is supposed to let you know to check the brakes.
I'm not sure about the groaning sound.

Yeah, I'm aware of the brakes, I checked the driver side today and they all had good pad life still, the rotor was wearing evenly but I'm a little concerned that it will need a new rotor before too long as it was looking thin. If it is the brakes making all that racket, I'll find it tomorrow when I check the passenger side of the car.

Check your power steering, the belt may be slipping or you don't have enough fluid.
