I just had these made $30 each + ship.
Save a lot of time greasing the inner wheel bearing.
George do those stay on the spindle ? If so would they work on a car trailer ?
Mike..I dint think George intended for these to 'stay on' any bearing...I would assume they go on the spindle, backed with the nut, pump grease into the bearing cavity, remove the 'tool'..then re install the bearing on the race and torque the nut etc.....USE a buddy bearing set of greasable dust-caps for trailers..you can buyum anywhere! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Wheelz, thanks . I saw a similar item before that stayed on the spindle and you could grease the bearings without having to remove anything. On my open trailer I have Buick road wheels and with the center caps on I can't easily get to a bearing buddy. Yes I am trying to be lazy .
Ya, ya, ya.....Wheelz has it right....this tool is a big time saver.
Thanks for inquiring.
that takes ALL the fun out of it.
