Pretty tough to pick one single 'best' episode. There were alot of hysterical ones!! :laugh: The soup nazi show certainly stood out though. :TU: George's 'opposite' one was pretty good too.
Way to many! The bit when Jerry goes to rent a car and they didn't "Hold" the reservation. Clerk- "I know why we have reservations!" Jerry- " I don't think you do!" Anyone can just TAKE a reservation, it's the HOLDING the reservation you have trouble with!" "And really, that's the most important part!" :grin: I miss looking forward to that show every Thursday. I watch the re-runs every night though.
"Would you like to take out the insurance sir?" "Yeah, you better give me the insurance because I'm going to beat the hell out of this car."
To many!!! But I have to say that whole "Festivus" thing is darn near the top. I've seen Jerry doing his show here in town twice. If you ever get the chance to go see him live I highly recommend it.
Kramer helped that show be successful.........I liked the one where he adopted the highway and painted new lines on the road with a paint roller........the one where he drove the hook and ladder truck to a fire was pretty good also. :laugh:
I love the "Soup Nazi" episode for the title character himself of course, but also because that's the episode where Jerry and his girlfriend (who gets banned for 1 year by the soup nazi) are all lovey-dovey calling each other "Shmoopy" ! I love that part. "You're the Shmoopy....No, you're the Shmoopy", while George and Elaine are disgusted by the whole thing. :grin:
I love the eppy where they are at the chinese restaurant. "Seinfeld yes party of 4 10min" or something like that lol its classic. I also love the eppy when George loses it over Twix candy bar. He makes a candy lineup and its all Twix bars.
I've always loved the episode with George's wallet. Probably because my wallet looks like that more times than, not, filled with receipts I don't need, etc. Kenny Rogers chicken...."Mr. Peepers?" The doll that looks like George's mother.
The episode where Jerry does not know his girlfriends' name....Mulva? Gipple? In the same episode, Kramer drops a Junior Mint into Elaines' friends' abdomen when he was being operated on. Great stuff!
Phase three at La Boca Vista "The sea was angry that day,like an old man sending soup back at a deli" My favorite has to be the one with Loyd Bridges as the geriatric trainer. "You think I cant lift that TV!,do you think your better than me!................ AAAHHHRRRGGG my back" "Mendlebaum!Mendlebaum!Mendlebaum!" I think that was also the Kramer Blood Bank episode, where Cosmo filled Jerry's Saab's radiator with his Blood........yikes :eek2: there was allways alot going in that show, and since "Curb" came on HBO I know why........Larry David was the evil genious behind it all. D.
Oh yeah! And the one where...... George is scamming the unemployment office, and tells Jerry to answer his phone "Vandalay industries" Then Kramer answers the phone while George is in the bathroom, and comes running out with his pants around his ankles. VANDALAY! VANDALAY! SAY VANDALAY! And you wanted to be my latex salesman.
I love the Godfather episode. Since I am a Godfather nut to begin with. "Never go against the family Jerry". I think that is the same episode as the bris. I also love fuscile Jerry A$$ man episode. Kramer gets these plates for his I think 70's chevy. Another best one is the episdoe with suze. Where that bookie owes Jerry some $$$ since he cannot pay he goes to fix his trunk and kramer knocks his chevy into the car and the guy gets trapped in the car. Then at the funeral service for suze who never existed. Jerry tells somebody I killed her and I broke his thmubs.
