I'm going to say......Stage 1 emblem in the wrong place. o No: Not real familiar with these years......yet. :beer
In my quick look (besides the above): Hood is painted body color on the underside (should be black), radio has white dial and it should be black, Skylark grille, radiator hose is wrong, fan shroud is a 1972 model (has hole for hose strap, 71's didn't have a hose strap), silver heat tube instead of black, wrong AC components, 350 air cleaner foamies (they're taller), missing spark plug wire holders...well, you get the idea.
This car has been on Ebay at least 3 times. It is a put-together car and maybe a scam. Numerous Buick owners have emailed this idiot telling him what is wrong and what he should state. As you can see from the listing, this has been a big waste of time!
Wow!! You guys are good!! I notice a few things wrong with this GS. But not all that you guys saw. :TU: I did email the person and asked the the numbers off of the body plate. This was his reply. Response from luvdg Item: Buick (4577707047) This message was sent while the listing was active. luvdg is the seller. I own over 400 vintage cars. Next time I am at the building where this car is stored, I will try and locate the numbers for you. Thanks; Dr. Marvin Friedman I will list the body plate information if he gets back to me. If he is serious in selling. He should get back to me. o No:
You won't hear from him. This guy is a shyster. I've emailed him every time this car has been listed and never got a response. I live within 30 minutes of Ft. Lauderdale and told him I wanted to come look at the car to verify #s and a few other items. He knows what he has, he's just hoping for a sap to hit the buy it now button.
That's too bad, I feel bad already for the individual that doesn't know what their getting into and buys this thing.
