motors been to scotty guardano built like stage one ,290-94h cam, edelbrock intake though have original, tranys been redone holley 3310 new, perf starter msd and box 6a,new master cyl prop valve lines ,tank cleaned,new batt , 105 alt,belts hoses timing chain water pump,motor mounts, wires msd new plugs ac, new top,, motor works ,interior new and done nicely,u joints complete suspension replacement front to rear, new tires,shocks and springs,trunk done,clock to clockworks,tilt cruise 6 way seats, add gauges on the floor, basicall nothing not replaced or improved. white outside red int,paint 9 out of 10 rear bumber has some apples....... the best running 70 electra conv around .....my guess 25kk though i hav 35k in it...runs like a dream.......whats your guestimate thanx for any input, marty
I've seen a '73 convert with super low miles in mint condition listed at $19,995 at a dealer. Being a more desirable year makes the value higher. Being that it's been customized or "upgraded" reduces the value to many people. I'd say somewhere around $20k is a good price, but don't expect anything resembling a quick sale. Right now any car going for more than $6k seems to draw alot of interest but very few who actually have money.
thanx,thats what i figured even though its not for sale.....im just trying to get back at mY wife who had a 2004 passat aNd a 2009 passat the first lost 20k on trade at the dealer since i dont like to sell privately??? and im sure the other will lose 20k in 3 years ...so she lost 40k in 8 years and i figure on losing 20k in the same time when i do sell MY 70 ELECTRA HAHAHAHH. though if i factor the gas in i might have to wait 2 more years HAAAHHA:Brow:
