The previous owner of my car put new springs in the rear but I didn't like the stance. The rear end was squatting too much for me.I used the short ones on the back of my GS. They raised the ass-end up about an 1 1/2". Now the car sits just perfect. I've had no issues with these extensions since I installed them 2 years ago. I did use new isolator pads at the time of installation.

I bought a set of these from Mr. Lift Kit on e-bay. It seem's as tho all 65-68 or so Skylark's were ass draggers. My 65 was no different. The wheel well exposed maybe an inch of tire above the rim.I bought a 1 1/2" - 2" set, un-hooked my shocks and bolted the round spacers on. I took this opportunity to put new top isolators on the springs. (Heavy Duty Black Garden Hose). I put the springs back in and bolted it all back up. Everything was supplied with the kit. Now it sit's just right. The side chrome strip sits parallel to the ground. You can also see more of the tire. I see a lot of Skylarks dragging like that, but also see a lot with an obvious lift kit. I love how it looks and it also makes more room for the mufflers. They don't drag over bumps. Give them a try, you won't regret it.
