whats the average

    whats the average milage for a buick 350-4? or highest milage? i have 125000 miles and wanna know if i have a good 3 years to save for a new engine.

    Give it some TLC and youll get over 200k. I did over 160k with a couple that took alot of abuse.

    Rebuilt mine at 149700 miles, 2 years ago. It was tired but could have gone a few more.

    My dads '75 LeSabre had 185000 on it when it went to the junkyard. Absolutley nothing was ever done to that engine except for oil changes and tune-ups, it was still running fine when it went to the junkyard, it was the body that was falling apart.

    I ve one 350 that has over 410,000 miles on it.... All that was changed was the timing chain and some gaskets! It still runs great btw. The 74 Regal rusted away and I saved the engine.

    Mine has 164k and it still runs great. 20 psi hot idle oil pressure. It's got another couple hundred thousand miles in her.:laugh:
