I'm going to part this car out, a demolition derby guy is after this rearend, 71 LeSabre, I think it's an 8.5 10 bolt with 28 spline axles. Next question what's it worth. I usually get $100 for a set of 32 spline axles from a 9 3/8" rearend.
    thanks Bruce

I think it may make a difference depending on if is a LeSabre 455 or 350.

Demo derby guys buy these for the 10 bolt 8.5 housing and build them up with the 12 bolt OLDS Bolt in 31 spline axles...then they build this 10 bolt 8.5 with a 31 spline FULL SPOOL (which I custom make for them) THIS way they can use insane 4.56 4.88 5.13 5.38 or 5.57 gears for derbying.

ask 200.00 for the rear instead.

Good lord that rear end is rusty. I'm sure glad I live in the NW.

    Thanks for the replies.
If you think the rears rusty you should see the rest of the car:grin:
Frame is rotted from in front of the rear wheels back, someone's done a nice bondo / gloss job on the body, it looks good from 40 ft away, hole in the block , 68 or 69 350, but the top still works.
