Hi, For my 64 Skylark 350 project, I would like to get a sp400. Can any th400 be modified to sp400. Can the front pump assembly and converter from my sp300 be used to convert the th400. Thanks Bruce

Thanks for the reply. All the articals talk about changing a th400 to a sp 400 by removing the pump and converter from a long shaft sp 400 and putting them in a short shaft th400, I can't find anything stating you can use a sp 300 pump and converter in a th400. I just want to get my facts straight before I purchase a th400. The other option is to purchase a th400 and send it to PAE or some one else as long as the th400 I purchase is sutable for the conversion. Thanks Bruce
Though the converters are interchangable between the ST300 & 400, it appears the pumps are different based on the illustrations in my chassis manual...hopefully someone else can confirm this. Devon
