Yes, he's just selling the tags and paperwork. The car is long gone. This isn't the first time he's listed it like that either. As far as legality.... I don't know. But I do know that a couple years ago I parted out a motorcycle. After a month or so, all that was left was the frame and title. I listed it on ebay just as that, (a frame and title) and ebay yanked my auction within about 30 minutes and sent me a nasty email saying that if I tried anything like that again that I would be booted from ebay forever. I didn't realise I was doing anything wrong. o No: Oh well, I never tried it again to find out. :laugh:
I would agree with ebay pulling that ad. I'am surprised they even ran it. There has to be a law against selling vin tags and title somewhere. Tom
