I've got a 64 Skylark w/ a 2bbl, and I recently acquired a factory aluminum 4bbl intake. What size carb will give me optimum performance with the 300ci V-8?

what is the maximum rpm you intend to run? 500cfm would pretty much take you out to 6000rpm ... and you can get that in a 2v Holley. i definitely don't think i'd go over 600cfm unless you've rebuilt and blueprinted/balanced the motor and intend to run it +7000rpm or you're running forced induction.

4v Edelbrocks; Edelbrock is based on the Carter AFB isn't it?
